The Sham-e-Ghausia Minority Unani Medical College & Hospital, Ghazipur was established in 1994 by Dr. Mohd. Azam Quadri, founder & Managing Director. U.P. Samaj Muslim Education Development Welfare Seva Samiti,Saheri, Ghazipur. The Sham-e-Ghausia Minority Unani Medical College & Hospital impart Bachelor Degree Courses have already been recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi(C.C.I.M) and affiliated with Veer Bahadur Purvanchal University Jaunpur with recognition of Govt. of U.P. The college is functioning in the magnificent building, which is located in very nature, beautiful, posh and peaceful area. It has a very easy approach. The College has its own seperate building for college, hospital and hostels. To provide the proper treatment, there is a hospital of 60 beds in Unani, established with all required facilities to proper care of the patients. As well as adequate facilities in Modern Medicine have also been made available. There is a proper and sufficient arrangement to accommodate the patient in general wards and Special wards of the hospital. X-ray, E.C.G., Pathology and other concerned test facilities are properly fnctioning there. There is a Harbal garden in the campus of the college having more than 300 Varieties of Medicinal plants.The Medicinal plants grow are cultivated for producing medicine towards fulfilling the specific requirement with demand of outdoor patient. The Hospital provides the service with ambulance also in any emergency situation. The college and hospital are well equippted with Ilaaj Bit Tadbeer Departments, Moalijat and also seperate clicnic for Unini Matab. These departments are easily available to studies for the students as per norms of C.C.I.M. New Delhi along with well experienced teaching staff. Both Ayurvedic & Unani Medical Colleges have established with 14 departments as per C.C.I.M. Norms cadavers for dissection are available in anatomy dissection hall. The function of college and hospital along with available facility is established by well experienced teaching staff and other non- teaching staff as per the norms of C.C.I.M. New Delhi. The teaching staff of institute has B.U.M.S. (Unani)has also well qualified as per C.C.I.M. The college library has more then 7000 books, generals, magazines and also wide range of references and text book to fulfill the need of students. The Library is well furnished. there is also a seperate building for practical training of the students and manufacturing the specific medicines of Unani & Ayurvedic treatments.

Sham-e-Ghausia Minority Unani Medical College & Hospital, Ghazipur Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery (BUMS) Counseling is conducted by Uttar Pradesh AYUSH UG Counseling (85%)

Eligibility: Candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2025 and registered on the official UP AYUSH UG Counselling-2025 website are eligible for admission to BAMS, BUMS, and BHMS courses, provided they have passed Intermediate (10+2) or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as compulsory subjects and have secured the minimum NEET UG 2025 percentile as prescribed (50th percentile for Unreserved, applicable percentiles for EWS, PwD, and reserved categories as per norms). Any change in eligibility made by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine or National Commission for Homoeopathy, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India shall be applicable. For government AYUSH colleges in Uttar Pradesh, candidates must be domiciles of Uttar Pradesh, except those who have passed both High School and Intermediate from UP, who are exempted from submitting a domicile certificate, while candidates who passed either or both examinations from outside UP (including AMU, Aligarh) must submit a valid UP domicile certificate. For private AYUSH colleges, private universities, and minority institutions, UP domicile is not mandatory and candidates from other states are also eligible. In private AYUSH colleges, 85% State Quota seats are open to candidates from all states with UP domicile candidates eligible under reservation rules and other state candidates considered under the Unreserved category cutoff issued by NTA while 15% All India Quota seats in the first and second rounds are available to candidates from all states except UP, with reservation applicable as per AACCC 2025 rules on submission of valid certificates. Candidates allotted a seat in the first, second, or third rounds are not eligible for the stray vacancy round, and those listed after AACCC rounds are also ineligible. The candidate must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31 December 2025, with no upper age limit, and the date of birth must be on or before 31 December 2008.

Horizontal Reservation

Registration Process:- Candidates must log in to the official AYUSH counselling website https://upayushcounseling.upsdc.gov.in and complete the registration form using their NEET UG 2025 Roll Number and Application Number by following the on-screen instructions. Candidates are advised to fill the registration form themselves and not through any agent or third party, and to use their own mobile number and email ID, as all communications such as OTP and notifications will be sent to these only. After logging into the portal, candidates must enter details such as name, father’s/mother’s name, date of birth, category/sub-category, address, mobile number, and email ID. After completing the registration form, the candidate must create a password, which will be used for future logins, and it should not be shared with anyone. For participation in the First, Second, and Third rounds of counselling, candidates must pay a non-refundable registration fee of ₹2,000 through the online payment gateway at the time of registration. Candidates who did not register earlier in Counselling 2025 and wish to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round must also pay a registration fee of ₹2,000. Candidates who had registered in the First, Second, or Third rounds but were not allotted any seat and wish to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round will be required to re-register and pay an additional registration fee of ₹1,000. The registration fee is non-refundable under all circumstances. After successful registration, candidates must download and keep a copy of the registration form and the payment receipt for future reference.

Security Money and Payment Process: Before depositing the security money, the candidate must personally verify their eligibility for counselling. At the time of registration, it is mandatory for the candidate to deposit the security money through online mode, for which the payment link will be made available on the portal at the relevant time. The details of the security money payment are as prescribed below.

The candidate will be eligible for choice filling only after depositing the security money. After depositing the security money the candidate must download the security money payment receipt. The security money of candidates who are admitted or not allotted any seat in AYUSH colleges will be refunded as per rules after the completion of all rounds of the counselling process. The refund of the security money will be made through the payment gateway to the same bank account from which the candidate made the online payment of the security money. Candidates are advised to make the payment only from their own or their parents’ bank account and not through a cyber café or any other third-party account so as to avoid any inconvenience during the refund process otherwise the candidate shall be solely responsible.

Choice Filling: After depositing the security amount the candidate must do choice filling from the available options.

• The candidate is free to select any or all available options of AYUSH disciplines. It is not mandatory to select all options.
• After completing choice filling choice locking is mandatory. If choices are not locked seat allotment will not be done.
• The counselling process will be conducted in First, Second, Third, and Stray Vacancy rounds.
• Candidates admitted to an AYUSH college through the First or Second round can again participate in re-allotment by doing fresh choice filling up to the Third round.
• While doing choice filling for re-allotment the candidate should not fill the option of the seat already admitted. If a seat is allotted in re-allotment the previously allotted seat will be automatically cancelled and the candidate will have no claim over it. However if re-allotment does not happen, the previous seat will remain unchanged.

Rounds of Counselling:-

Admission Process: After physical verification at the Nodal Centre, candidates must download the allotment letter and complete the admission process in the allotted AYUSH college. At the time of admission, it is mandatory to submit all original documents along with self-attested photocopies for physical verification. For all candidates who receive an allotment letter through counselling, physical verification of documents and admission formalities will be conducted at the respective college, with a Medical Board constituted to ensure proper admission procedures.

Document Verification Process:- For candidates participating in UP AYUSH UG Counselling 2025, verification of academic and related documents will be conducted both online and physically.

(a) Online Verification:
The academic documents of candidates participating in UP AYUSH UG Counselling-2025 will be verified online. For this purpose, candidates must upload the following documents on the counselling website at the time of registration:

• High School or equivalent examination certificate.
• Intermediate or equivalent examination marksheet.
• NEET UG 2025 scorecard.
• Reservation-related certificate, if applicable.
• Domicile certificate, as per the Government Order, if applicable.
• Aadhaar authentication will be carried out. In case Aadhaar is not available or authentication is unsuccessful, candidates must upload any one of the following: Driving Licence / Passport / PAN Card / Photo-bearing bank passbook / Photo identity card issued by the last educational institution.

After completion of online verification, the State Merit List of all verified candidates will be published on the counselling website. Thereafter, candidates must proceed with choice filling, following which the Provisional Seat Allotment List will be issued. Only candidates who are provisionally allotted a seat will be required to undergo physical document verification.

(b) Physical Verification: Physical verification of eligibility-related documents will be conducted at the counselling venue (Nodal Centre)—Government National Homoeopathic Medical College, Hahnemann Chowk, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, and also at the allotted college at the time of admission. For this purpose, candidates must personally appear at the prescribed date, time, and place with the original documents along with one self-attested photocopy of each, as listed below:

1. NEET UG 2025 admit card and scorecard.
2. High School and Intermediate (or equivalent) marksheets and certificates.
3. Domicile / Permanent Residence Certificate issued by a competent authority in the prescribed format of the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
4. Reservation claim certificates, issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format, such as SC / ST / OBC / EWS / Dependents of Freedom Fighters / Dependents of Ex-servicemen / Disability certificate / NCC certificate, as applicable.
5. One passport-size photograph generated from the same negative as the photograph uploaded during NEET UG 2025.
6. Identity proof (Driving Licence / Photo-bearing bank passbook / PAN Card / Passport / Photo identity card issued by the last educational institution). Candidates whose Aadhaar authentication could not be completed at the time of registration must produce their Aadhaar card during physical verification.
7. Printout of the online registration form.
8. Printout of the security money payment receipt.
