Uttarakhand Ayurved University is the first AYUSH University in Uttarakhand, offering courses through its campuses at Haridwar and Dehradun in faculties such as Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Yoga & Naturopathy, Biomedical Sciences, and Pharmaceutical Sciences. As per NCISM guidelines and Government of India regulations, the University conducts centralized online counseling for UG admissions (2025–26) to B.A.M.S., B.H.M.S., B.U.M.S., and B.N.Y.S. courses in its campuses and affiliated government and private colleges of Uttarakhand. Admissions are done through NEET (UG)-2025 based on merit, eligibility and choice filling, following the rules issued by the Central and State Governments.
Eligibility Criteria: For admission to AYUSH UG courses (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, and BNYS) through UAUC-UG 2025–26 the candidate must be an Indian citizen and must have qualified NEET (UG)-2025. The applicant should have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Biotechnology as subjects. The minimum age requirement and other conditions shall be as per the latest guidelines issued by the NEET-2025 conducting authority, NCISM/CCH, Government of India, Government of Uttarakhand, and Hon’ble Courts, and the candidate must have attained 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission, with no upper age limit. Admission will be based on NEET-2025 merit, with minimum qualifying percentile of 50th for UR/EWS, 40th for SC/ST/OBC, and 45th for UR/EWS-PwD and 40th for SC/ST/OBC-PwD candidates. For State Quota seats, candidates must be domicile/permanent residents of Uttarakhand or have passed 10+2 from an institution located in Uttarakhand, as per applicable rules, while All India Quota seats are open to eligible candidates from all states. Reservation and relaxation, wherever applicable, will be provided as per Government norms, and valid domicile and category certificates must be produced at the time of admission.
COUNSELLING PROCEDURE:-
All NEET (UG)-2025 qualified and eligible candidates wishing to participate in UG State or All India quota counselling must register themselves for counselling as per the prescribed procedure, and only registered candidates will be eligible for that particular round. Candidates who do not register in the first round may participate in the second, third, or Mop-Up rounds after fresh registration and payment of the required fee. During registration, candidates must compulsorily provide their NEET-2025 roll number, application number, valid mobile number, and other required details. Registration and choice filling/upgradation are mandatory for each round as per the counselling schedule, and spot registration will not be entertained. Candidates who fail to register or upgrade for a specific round will not be considered for seat allotment in that round. If a seat allotted in the first round is not joined, the candidate may participate in the second round but cannot claim the previously allotted seat. Candidates admitted in the second round who wish to resign or surrender their seat must apply through the concerned college Principal to the Registrar, UAU, Dehradun, and report in person to the counselling board before the third or Mop-Up round, and such candidates cannot reclaim the surrendered seat. Seat upgradation is permitted only from round I to round II, and if upgraded, the earlier allotted seat is automatically cancelled and allotted to the next eligible candidate. Fresh choice filling is compulsory in each round, candidates may fill any number of choices in order of preference and eligibility, and are advised to exercise choices carefully, as allotments once made will not be altered and the University/Counselling Board will not be responsible for any errors made by the candidate.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE: Candidates must report personally to the allotted college office to deposit the required fee and complete the admission process. They are required to visit the allotted college within the specified period along with the documents mentioned in point 7.4.11 for completion of further admission formalities. The admission process shall be considered complete only after the candidate receives the admission letter issued by the concerned college within the time period mentioned in the allotment letter; therefore, candidates must make all necessary arrangements in advance to ensure completion of the entire admission process within the stipulated time of that particular round.
