Jeeyar Homoeopathic Medical College, established in the year 2015 has an intake capacity of 100 students every year for BHMS course. The College and Hostel are on the same campus and the Hospital is within half a kilometre radius. And the college is affiliated to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Telangana Warangal.

College is spread across 10.4 acres with a floor area of 1,10,000 sq. ft There are 5 Lecture Halls with seating capacity of 150 students each. Every Lecture hall has smart learning board & projector. Live Surgeries or medical procedures could also be viewed in the Lecture Halls. Separate Examination hall. Air conditioned Central Library has Reading Rooms for students & teachers, E-Library Room, Librarian Room, cloak room, Xerox Room and Stack Room. The Library is open from 9:00am to 7:00pm. About Hospital

The hospital has 24 hrs emergency services with an Ambulance facility. There are two, state of art, fully equipped operation theatres with facility to perform General, Laparoscopic, Gynaecology, Obstetrics, and Orthopaedic surgeries. Hospital has male and female general ward and special rooms to cater to all class of patients. The ward is equipped with modern amenities like central oxygen and suctions facilities, C Arm machine, double surface phototherapy and paediatric warmer to handle neonates.

The diagnostics wing comprises of Automated Clinical Laboratory, Radiology, Electrocardiography, Sonography, 2D Echocardiography & Non Stress Test (NST). The admission for Homeopathic colleges in Private colleges is divided into two categories :

• Government Seats and
• Private (management) Seats

1. Government Seat: The Counseling is conducted by Dr. KNRUHS (KNR University of Health Sciences) in which only local domicile students can participate in Counseling and it is based on NEET Score and Ranking. 50% of seats are available for government seat in Private colleges. The Andhra Pradesh Ayush Counselling (BAMS/BHMS/BUMS) will be done in online mode on the official website of Dr. KNRUHS. There are three rounds of Counseling First round, second round, and Mop-up round of Counseling. etc
2. Private(management) Seat: The Private Seats are open to all, where the aspirants must be qualified in the NEET-UG examination. 50% of seats available for Private or management seats, in which 15% is for NRI.

Reservation Policies for Government Seats:

Special Category Reservations under the categories of CAP, NCC, PWD is as follows:

• CAP (Army) - 1%
• National Cadet Corps (NCC) - 1%
• Persons with Disabilities (PWD) - 5%

Reservation For Women Candidates: 33 1/3% of seats are reserved for women candidates which are horizontal reservations.

Course Duration:

5 ½ Years (Study Period – 4 ½ Years + Compulsory Rotating Internship 1 Year). Students will have 4 professional exams within a duration of 4.5 years and a compulsory rotating internship for 1 year. medical colleges in Karnataka states are regulated as per the rules and regulations of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science which is also known as RGUHS, Bangalore.

Eligibility:-

• A candidate must have passed the PUC or its equivalent examination with English as one of the languages and Physics, Chemistry & Biology as optional subjects with not less than 50% of marks in aggregate in the Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry & Biology).
• The candidate should have attained the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission.
• In order to be eligible for admission to the undergraduate course for an academic year, it shall be necessary for the candidate to obtain a minimum of marks at the 50th percentile in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by an authority designated by the Central government, for the undergraduate course held for the said academic year.
• For candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC the minimum, marks shall be at the 40th percentile. For candidates with benchmarks disabilities as specified under the rights of the persons with Disabilities act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the minimum marks shall be at the 45th percentile for the General category and 40th percentile for the SC/ST/OBC
• For Foreign national candidates any other equivalent qualification to be approved by the Central Government may allow, and entrance examination for admission to undergraduate courses namely NEET shall not be applicable for the Foreign national candidates.
• Only those students who have qualified NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST [NEET UG 2021] conducted by NTA are eligible for admission either through Merit, Management, or NRI quota.

Qualifying Percentile and Cut-off Score:

9. Candidates who have studied in the institutions outside of Telangana have to submit 10 years (years of period to be specified) residence certificate of the candidate or either of the parent issued by MRO / Tahsildar of Govt. of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh
10. The candidates claiming fee exemption shall produce the latest Income certificate of the Parent issued by MRO / Tahsildar of Govt. of Telangana.
11. Undertaking in the form of Affidavit on Rs. 100 /- Stamp paper by the Parent and candidate stating that the caste and area mentioned in the certificates are genuine and they will be held responsible for any further consequences as per law if any discrepancy noticed.(See Annexure-III).
12. Local residence certificate issued by MRO of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh for candidates appeared privately.
13. Candidates claiming eligibility of reservation under Special categories i.e., CAP,PWD, NCC should furnish the required certificate in support of their claim
