Govt.Autonomous Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital

Government Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Bhopal, M.P was established since 1990 -91 as an Autonomous Organization under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh. Presently it is under Ministry of AYUSH Mantralaya, Govt of M.P. It is the only Government college in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The Institute is affiliated to Barkatullah University and Madhya Pradesh Ayurvigyan University Jabalpur.

The BHMS degree course had been conducted by Barkatullah University Bhopal since 1990-91. Presently Bachelor of Homoeopathy and Surgery i.e B.H.M.S (Direct) from session 2015-16 &M.D.(Hom) from session 2016-17 was now affiliated to Madhya Pradesh Ayurvigyan University Jabalpur.Paramedical courses namely X- ray Technician, Yoga and Naturopathy since 7 Years were conducted by Madhya Pradesh Paramedical Council Bhopal.

The infrastructure includes Undergraduate and Postgraduate wing comprising of office, college, hospital and auditorium sections. The total build up area of undergraduate and postgraduate wing is about 25000 Sq.m. There are three stair type A.C. seminar halls; each of them has about 250 seating capacity.

Hospital: The hospital having an outpatient and a 150 bedded inpatients department along with necessary sub departments as prescribed by Central Council of Homoeopathy.

The Institute is built up at its own campus measuring about 50 acres (joint campus for Ayurveda, Homoeopathy and Unani) of land at AYUSH Campus, beside Kaliasot dam, M.A.C.T Hills, Bhopal, M.P.

Hostel: A 250 seated three storied girls hostel is functioning at the same campus. Homoeopathic Pharmacy Manufacturing unit is also provided in the same campus.

Course Duration:

5 ½ Years (Study Period – 4 ½ Years + Compulsory Rotating Internship 1 Year)

AACCC will be doing Counselling for minimum 15% AIQ seats for Government, Government aided, Central Universities, National Institutes, Private colleges and 100% seats for Deemed Universities.

Eligibility:

1. Candidates should be Indian Citizen and they have state domicile of Madhya Pradesh.
2. They must be qualified in 10+2 examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English subjects.
3. The age of the candidates should be minimum of 17 years and a maximum of 25 years & there are 5 years of age relaxation for reserved candidates.
