Dr. V.H. Dave Homoeopathic Medical College

Dr. V.H. Dave Homoeopathic Medical College has been always the pioneer institute in promoting homoeopathy in Gujarat. Through the inspiration of his Guru, Dr. V. H. Dave, the founder of institute, established Gujarat Homoeopathic Society as a registered charitable trust with registration number Kaira F - 124 on Dt : 30th Nov 1970.

The college was granted permission to conduct full-time D.H.M.S. course of 4 years duration affiliated Gujarat Govt., and recognised by CCH, New Delhi. Since 1992 the college is affiliated to Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar and since then conducts the B.H.M.S. course of 51/2 years duration with intake of 127 seats. To add feather in the cap, the institute also became the 1st institute in Gujarat to conduct Post graduate course in subjects of Materia Medica, Organon & Homoeopathic Philosophy & Repertory from July 2000. consider this an honour bestowed upon us by CCH as recognition of consistent, sincere & unyielding efforts for upliftment of homoeopathic system in Gujarat.

Hostel:

The College library has a rich collection of Homoeopathy books and allied medical subjects. The library has well-stocked journals, magazines, newspapers and periodicals. Facilities that are provided by the college are lecture theatres, seminar hall, sports, conference hall, canteen, well-established classrooms and medical. Hostel facility is available for both boys and girls in separate accommodation.

In Gujarat Counseling for AYUSH is conducted by Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) .ACPUGMEC is limited to the conduct of centralized Counseling, which includes online registration, document verification, online/offline Counseling procedure, seat allotment and issue of admission order as per NEET UG of current academic year. Candidates are advised to go through the user manual in the registration portal while filling the online registration form given at http://medadmgujarat.org/ug/home.aspx

Course Duration:

5 ½ Years (Study Period – 4 ½ Years + Compulsory Rotating Internship 1 Year)

Eligibility:

1. Applicants must have passed class 10+2 or equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry, Biology as mandatory subjects.
2. Candidates must have scored minimum 50% marks in Biology /Biotechnology, Physics & Chemistry.
3. The Minimum age of the applicant at the time of admission should be 17 years.
4. Applicant must be NEET qualified.
5. Applicants should be an Indian.

2. Marks sheet (10th & 10+2) and higher Qualification (if any).
3. NEET Score.
4. Character Certificate from the Head of the Institution, last attended.
5. Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ST/OBC Candidates).
6. Migration certificate (T.C.) from the University or College last attended
7. In case of having a breach of study, an affidavit must be submitted by the candidate that during the gap period he/she was not involved – in any political activity, Criminal activity and no Criminal case is pending against him/her in any court of law.
8. Six passport sized colour photographs.
9. Two self-addressed and stamped (Rs5/-) envelopes.
