The Laxmiben Homoeopathy Institute & Research Centre, Mehsana, is a Private College established in the year 2000. The college is affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan, located in Gujarat with an annual intake of 100 seats.

College and hospital built up area is more than the requirement prescribed by the Ayush & C.C.H. It has fully equipped 12 U.G. departments and every department consists of HOD room, departmental library, museum, laboratories & demonstration rooms. Course offering: BHMS, University is starting Degree Course in Homoeopathy, Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (B.H.M.S.). The course is full time and regular and recognized by the Central Council of Homoeopathy and Govt. of India

Minimum qualification for admission to BHMS Course : Inter mediate/Higher Secondary (10+2) examination or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Biology and the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year.

Duration of course: The total duration of the course is five and half years, including one year compulsory rotatory internship, as follows:-

• First B.H.M.S 1 Academic year(1 yr)
• Second B.H.M.S 1 Academic year(1 yr)
• Third B.H.M.S 1 Academic year(1yr)
• Final B.H.M.S 1 and 1/2 Academic years(1.5yr)
• Rotatory internship, 1Year (12 months).

Teaching Medium: Medium of instruction shall be in English, Gujarati and Hindi for learning purpose, but examination will be held in English only.

Hospital: LHIRC, runs 25 bed well equipped Homoeopathic Hospital. labour and surgery facilities are also available. The Modern Medicine practitioners facilitate the OPD and as faculty for teaching. 24 hours emergency and doctor facilities are available in hospital. Physiotherapist and yoga trainer are also available in Rehabilitation Department of hospital. They are well qualified in their fields. Pathological laboratories are well equipped with modern machineries, USG and x- ray facilities are available.

In Gujarat Counseling for AYUSH is conducted by  Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) .ACPUGMEC is limited to the conduct of centralized Counseling, which includes online registration, document verification, online/offline Counseling procedure, seat allotment and issue of admission order as per NEET UG of current academic year. Course Duration:

 5 ½ Years (Study Period – 4 ½ Years + Compulsory Rotating Internship 1 Year)

Eligibility:

1. Applicants must have passed class 10+2 or equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry, Biology as mandatory subjects.
2. Candidates must have scored minimum 50% marks in Biology /Biotechnology, Physics & Chemistry.
3. The Minimum age of the applicant at the time of admission should be 17 years.
4. Applicant must be NEET qualified.
5. Applicants should be an Indian.
