The Bhupendra Narayan Mandal Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Saharsa (Bihar) was established in the year 1973 in the name of Late Bhupendra Narayan Mandal Ex M.P. (Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha) and a socialist Leader, by the social workers of old Saharsa District Comprising Saharsa, Madhepura and Supaul District to serve the suffering people of the Kosi ravaged areas which covers the several districts of North Bihar Saharsa is the old divisional Headquarter of the state. The college is situated in the heart of the Nagar Parishad of Saharsa on the Saharsa Madhepura Bye-Pass Road.


The College is running Under the supervision and guidance of Bhupendra Narayan Mandal Educational and Social Development Trust headed by its Chairman Dr. Upendra Prasad Yadav Ex founder Principal of B.N.M. Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital Saharsa and Ex Chairman Bihar State Board of Homoeopathic Medicine Patna and a renoud Homoeopathic Physician.

Have well experienced and brilliant team of Thirtyseven(37) teaching staffs in Professors, Assistant Professors and Lecturer cadre in different subjects for teaching and training of the student including hospital works Beside this we have got Guest faculty Teaching staff, Medical Staff, Resident Medical officer and others Medical Staffs, Para-Medical Staffs and other Staffs for proper and smoothly functioning of the institution.

This college was firstly granted recognition in the year 1974 by Bihar State Board of Homoeopathic Medicine, Patna to impart teaching and training to the D.H.M.S. students for the Academic session 1974-75 – 1975-76 After the transfer of the all Homoeopathic Medical Colleges from Bihar State Board of Homoeopathic Medicine to Bihar University the College was granted affiliation by the Bihar University from the session 1976-77 to onward session up to 1981-82. After the imposition of Bihar State Homoeopathic Shikshan Sansthan Viniyaman and  Niyantran Adhiniyan 1987 the college was granted affiliation to impart teaching in D.H.M.S., B.H.M.S. and Graded B.H.M.S. course since 1982 to onward by the Govt., of Bihar, Department of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare.

At present the college is duly recognized by Central Council of Homoeopathy Ministry of AYUSH Govt. of India, Govt. of Bihar Department of Health Medical Education and Family Welfare and permanently affiliated to B.R.A. Bihar University Muzaffarpur for imparting teaching and training to the B.H.M.S. Students.

Hospital:

The College has its on about seven Acres of land registered in the name of Hon'ble Governor Govt. of Bihar for B.N.M. Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital Saharsa. The College has its on big building running the administrative block, Operation theatre, Laboratories of different department, library, O.P.D, I.P.D. Lectures Hall. We have 30 bedded Indoor Hospital dividing into male ward, Female Ward, Children Ward and Isolation ward Beside this they have X-ray Unit, ECG, ENT, Eyes and Dental Unit and Ultrasound unit in Hospital.

Admission Process

Admission into BAMS, BHMS, BUMS & BNYS Courses in all the Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani and Naturopathy Medical Colleges affiliated to B.R.Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur.

 for the academic year under Competent Authority Quota seats i.e., the seats in Government Ayurveda, Homoeopathy & Unani Colleges and Competent Authority Seats in Private Un-aided Non-Minority Ayurveda, Homoeopathy and Naturopathy Medical Colleges underB.R.Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur.

Qualifying Percentile and Cut-off Score:

The College Cut-off is the minimum marks prescribed by the selection board for the admission of students. The merit list will be designed on these Cutoff scores. Aspirants who apply for the Institute needs to clear the Cut-off for various courses.

  • Aspirants are required to obtain minimum qualifying percentile marks in NEET 2021 entrance examination to qualify for further admission process.
  • Candidates who belong to SC/ ST/ OBC are required to obtain marks equivalent to at least 40thpercentile to be considered for AIQ and state counselling process.
  • Aspirants who belong to UR category are required to score equivalent to at least 50thpercentile.
