Dr. Yadubir Sinha Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Darbhanga was founded on 10th April 1929. The college is affiliated to the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur. It is approved by the Central Council of Homoeopathy (CCH) New Delhi. The college is a unit of Dr. Yadubir Sinha Memorial Trust.
The college campus is situated in Bakerganj, Laheriasarai, Darbhanga, Bihar. The campus is spread over a one acre of land. The college has its own double story and more spacious building that comprises of a separate block of administrative, academic and students. The college has its own Hospital that is attached to the campus building.
Facilities: The college offers the facility of the lecture theatre, common room, computer lab, canteen, indoor and outdoor games, seminar hall, etc. Within the campus the college provides the facility of post-office, bank (Central Bank of India) with an ATM. There is a separate hostel for girls and boys with good security arrangement. The college has a spacious library with a various type of books that includes Homoeopathy and Allied subjects (Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Surgery etc) and etc. Besides these books, magazine, reports, journals, newspapers are available in Hindi, English, Urdu and Bengali language. There is also a well-equipped laboratory with all the modern equipment facility.
Courses Offered: Dr. Yadubir Sinha Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Darbhanga impart Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BAMS). The duration of this programme is 4 ½ years and one year compulsory internship. For each academic year, 50 seats will be available for the BHMS programme.
