Uttaranchal Unani Medical College and Hospital(UUMCH) recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine and affiliated to Uttarakhand Ayurved University, is a well known minority institution imparting education in Unani Medicine and Surgery. It conducts Kamil-e-Tib-o-Jarahat, B.U.M.S. course as prescribed by the C.C.I.M. Uttaranchal Unani Medical College and Hospital is open to all irrespective of caste, creed, color or gender and draws students from all corners of the country. The College offer 5 ½ year degree course in Homoeopathy that is Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS). The duration of BUMS programme will be about 4 ½ years + one year compulsory internship. The total number of seats for BUMS is 60. Uttaranchal Unani Medical College and Hospital was established, and is being run and managed by Hasnu Ahmad Memorial Educational & Charitable Society (Registered). All the property movable or immovable, of Uttaranchal Unani Medical College and Hospital and that of its constituent departments such as the Hospital etc. is vested in the said council. Uttaranchal Unani Medical College & Hospital is a well known minority institute and minority status granted by National Commission for Minority educational Institutions, Government of India. Uttaranchal Unani Medical College and Hospital complex, comprising the magnificent buildings of the College, the Hospital, the Hostel and Pharmacy, is situated on Laksar Road Fifteen kilometer Northward from Haridwar. The location is picturesque and beautiful, surrounded by vast expenses of greenery and the tall blooming trees. The atmosphere of the campus is pure and serene, ideal for educational activities and the care of patients. Haridwar is located in Northwest part of Uttarakhand, 200 Kilometer from Delhi on Delhi Laksar-Haridwar Road. Haridwar is a railway station and easily accessible either by road or railways.

Uttarakhand AYUSH Counselling 2021, The counselling of Ayush Courses in Uttarakhand (UK) for 2021 will be done by Uttarakhand Ayurveda University. The Uttarakhand Ayush Counselling-2021 (BAMS/BHMS/BUMS) ayush counselling will be done in online mode on the official website of Uttarakhand Ayurveda University i.e https://uau.ac.in/ Students will have to fill the application form for Uttarakhand Ayush Counselling-2021 (BAMS/BHMS/BUMS) counselling.

Uttarakhand Ayurveda University will conduct the counselling Process for admission in Ayush courses i.e BAMS BUMS BHMS for session 2021-22. Students who fulfill the eligibility criteria and have cleared NEET 2021 Exam can fill the application form for Uttarakhand Ayush BAMS BUMS BHMS Counselling 2021. Uttarakhand BAMS BUMS BHMS Counselling application form 2021 will be filled in Online Mode on the official website of Uttarakhand Ayurveda University i.e https://uau.ac.in/.

Eligibility:

An applicant is eligible to take admission in B. H. M. S. (I) course if:

He / she has attained or will attain the age of seventeen on or before the 31st December of the year of admission to the B. H. M. S (I) course.

He / she has passed the 12th class under 10+2 scheme from any recognized Statutory Board / Council / University with requisite 5 subjects including Physics, Chemistry & Biology provided that such Statutory Board / Council / University is recognized by Kumaon University, Nanital, Uttarakhand.

Blind (including color blind), deaf and / or dumb candidates shall not be allowed for admission in the course.

Note:-

A Candidate need to satisfy the conditions of the qualifying examination as prescribed by the entrance examination conducting authority.

Candidates who have appeared at the qualifying examination in the current year are also eligible to apply and appear in the Admission Test. Their candidature will be taken into consideration provided that the result of the qualifying examination is published before the notified last date of admission and they have secured the required percentage of marks, substantiated by production of documentary proof.

Admission Test:

• The Uttarakhand Pre-Medical Test (U. P. M. T.) Written Competitive Test for students of Uttarakhand is conducted by the State Government of Uttarakhand at different centres. Candidates should therefore give their choice of centre in the application. They must note that centre of examination once allotted to the candidate, shall not be changed and any request for such change will not be entertained at any stage.
• The Combined Pre Medical Entrance Examination is conducted by Association of C. P. M. E. E., Dehradun, for 25 seats in All India level.

Notification for the admission and date of examination for both the above mentioned premedical tests is done through all the leading newspapers of the country.

Procedure for Admission:

Candidates will be admitted only after verification of their eligibility. All original certificates / testimonials / documents will have to be produced for verification. The date of admission will be notified along with the intimation to the empanelled candidates. On the notified date the candidate will have to be present in person. If a candidate fails to report to the Institute on the notified date, the offer of admission shall automatically be cancelled and the seat shall be offered to the candidates on the waiting list in order of merit.

• Certificate of age (S. S. C. / H. S. certificate)
• Conduct certificate from the head of the institution last attended.
• Transfer certificate from the institution last studied.
• Mark sheets of high school and higher secondary examination.
• Four duly attested passport size photographs and two stamp sized photograph.
• Caste certificate.
• Caste validity certificate.
• Migration certificate.
• Certificate of prizes, scholarship, co-curricular activities, games & sports etc.
• Admission granted is provisional and is subject to cancellation if any short coming is found.

• Production of original certificates
