Shree Shamalaji Homoeopathic Medical College, Hospital & R.I. Godhra established 1994 is situated in Kanelav road, Godhra about 3 k.m. away from railway station & 1.5 Km bus stand. The college is running degree course of 5 ½ years. It is Affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan and recognized by council of homoeopathy, Gujarat state, government of Gujarat, and Central Council of Homoeopathy, New Delhi, Government of India with intake capacity of 130 seats.

The college has all facilities and it is full-fledged with modern instruments and equipments in all the departments needed for teaching of homoeopathy as per the central council of homoeopathy, government of India. This enables the young student to avail the best education in homoeopathy. This college has an Anatomy department with a dissection hall.

Various other departments with museums are full-fledged like Physiology, Pharmacy, Organon of Medicine, Materia Medica, pathology, Forensic medicine, Community medicine, Surgery,Practice of Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology and Repertory department. All departments are unique in its features and full-fledged with computerized charts, collection of specimens when compared with any other colleges.

The College Has an attached 25 bedded Hospital at Shri Satyanarayan Sarvajanik General Hospital, Godhra.It is situated in the heart of the Godhra city Near civil Hospital B/H Sardar Nagar Khand,Godhra. Its motto is to serve the poor and needy on charitable basis. It has out door Patient department, Indoor patient department, clinical teaching Facility, computerised Central registration system, unique Pathology laboratory, X-ray, E.C.G, Sonography, Operation Theatre, Labour Room, Post oprative ward Resussitative Facility, I.C.U, General starilization faciliy, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy Rehabilitation and yoga centre, Kitchen, Dental, Ophthalmology, Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology and Surgery departments and Residence Facility for Hospital Staff, The hospital has various OPDs and is served by well-known and experienced doctors of both allopathic and homoeopathic discipline. This Hospital renders mobile Dispensary Services. The college Hospital has adopted five villages around the city of Godhra, where the internees are directly posted to get clinical experience during their Internship period. It is well equipped with modern Instruments and technology with all facilities and infrastructure. The hospital has free ambulance service for the transportation of the patients. College has signed one MOU with Sunrise Hospital for training internee and students.

In Gujarat Counseling for AYUSH is conducted by Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) .ACPUGMEC is limited to the conduct of centralized Counseling, which includes online registration, document verification, online/offline Counseling procedure, seat allotment and issue of admission order as per NEET UG of current academic year. Course Duration:

5 ½ Years (Study Period – 4 ½ Years + Compulsory Rotating Internship 1 Year)

Eligibility:

1. Applicants must have passed class 10+2 or equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry, Biology as mandatory subjects.
2. Candidates must have scored minimum 50% marks in Biology /Biotechnology, Physics & Chemistry.
3. The Minimum age of the applicant at the time of admission should be 17 years.
4. Applicant must be NEET qualified.
5. Applicants should be an Indian.
