The Mangla Kamla Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Siwan , is a Private College established in the year 1977. The college is affiliated to B.R. Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur. in 1980. Mangla Kamla Homoeopathic Medical College Hospital, Siwan offers 5 Years & 6 Months Full Time Bachelors Degree in OBD Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) with an annual intake of 50 seats.
Professor Bishnu Kumar Sinha and his wife Smt. Kamala Kumari Sinha who were founder president and secretary respectively were donors. They donated a beautiful and spacious multistoried building and about 2.5 acres of land for the college, which is situated in the District town of Siwan and on the river's side. The president and the secretary have also donated rupees one lakh cash.This institution comprising of a three storied College building and a proposed multistoried hospital building under construction. College Building : All the department namely, Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacy, Preventive & Social Medicine, Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, Pathology, Genecology, Surgery, E.N.T. & Eye, Organon of Homoeopathic Medicine, Material Medica, and Repertory are situated in College building.
The College has its own well stocked library, with reading room. The library remains opens open on every working day of the College between 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Students can borrow books from the library against caution money as determined by the Principal. About 1220 books are available in the library. A number of new Books will be included in the library very soon against the grant received from Govt of India.
