Lalitaben Ramniklal Shah Homoeopathic Medical College, Rajkot was established in 2000. The college is affiliated to the Saurastra University. It is approved by the Central Council of Homoeopathy (CCH) New Delhi. LRSHC is run by Smt. T.V. Mehta Charitable Foundation.

The college campus is situated in Rajkot, Gujarat. The campus is spread over a one acre of land. The college has its own double story and more spacious building that comprises of a separate block of administrative, academic and students. 25 bedded teaching hospital is attach with L R Shah Homeopathy College.

For the overall development of student and produce responsible citizen apart from academic activities, the co-curricular activities, sports, adventure, cultural and social- service activities also a part of curriculum of LRSHC.

Facilities: The college offers the facility of the lecture theatre, common room, computer lab, canteen, indoor and outdoor games, seminar hall, etc. There is a separate hostel for girls and boys with good security arrangement. The college has a spacious library with a various type of books that includes Homoeopathy and Allied subjects (Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Surgery etc) and etc. Besides these books, magazine, reports, journals, newspapers are available. There is also a well-equipped laboratory with all the modern equipment facility.

HOSTEL: Hostel facility is available for both boys and girls in separate accommodation. After getting admission in the college, students will have to apply for the Hostel seats in prescribed application form available on payment. Strict disciplines are to be maintained in the Hostel. Hostel is under the charge of teaching faculty duly authorized for the purpose with a view to keep vigilant for all round maintenance of discipline.

Courses Offered: Lalitaben Ramniklal Shah Homoeopathic Medical College impart Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BAMS). The duration of this programme is 4 ½ years and one year compulsory internship. For each academic year, 100 seats will be available for the BHMS programme.

In Gujarat Counseling for AYUSH is conducted by Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) .ACPUGMEC is limited to the conduct of centralized Counseling, which includes online registration, document verification, online/offline Counseling procedure, seat allotment and issue of admission order as per NEET UG of current academic year. Course Duration:

5 ½ Years (Study Period – 4 ½ Years + Compulsory Rotating Internship 1 Year)

Eligibility:

1. Applicants must have passed class 10+2 or equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry, Biology as mandatory subjects.
2. Candidates must have scored minimum 50% marks in Biology /Biotechnology, Physics & Chemistry.
3. The Minimum age of the applicant at the time of admission should be 17 years.
4. Applicant must be NEET qualified.
5. Applicants should be an Indian.
