Pt.Jawahar Lal Nehru State Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Kanpur, is a Government College established in the year 1962. The College is affiliated to Dr.B.R.Ambedkar University, Agra, located in Uttar Pradesh with an annual intake of 50 seats.

The college presently offers graduate courses in Homeopathy which is spread over a duration of 5 years and 6 months comprising of 4 and a half years of classroom teaching and one (1) year of compulsory Rotating Internship Training Programme. The student on satisfactory completion of the Internship, shall register with the appropriate state boards and can use the suffix B.H.M.S and can prefix their name with "Dr."

The college library consists of many rare and selected books on homoeopathic medicine, other allied medical subjects, important medical journals are also subscribed regularly. Many new books are added to meet growing need of the students and staff and to keep the library up to date. Book Bank facility is available for students.

PJNMC provides separate residential accommodations are provided students. All the required amenities are provided as well. The care of these students is taken by the rector, who is specially appointed to look after them round the clock. Rooms have basic amenities like table, chair, cupboard, bed, blankets, pillow etc. Excellent, safe and homely hostel for students in the College campus. It has an excellent infrastructure with an atmosphere conducive to learning. It is centrally located and easily accessible from all parts of campus.

Admission Process

Course Duration:

5 ½ Years (Study Period – 4 ½ Years + Compulsory Rotating Internship 1 Year)

Seat Distribution:

-15% AIQ (All India Quota)

AACCC will be doing Counselling for minimum 15% AIQ seats for Government, Government aided, Central Universities, National Institutes, Private colleges and 100% seats for Deemed Universities.

- 85% Government Quota

85% seat filled through government counselling conducted by Uttar Pradesh Ayush Neet.

Eligibility:

NEET eligibility marks 2021	10+2 percentage required for NEET 2021 exam is separate for every category and can be listed as under. NEET eligibility marks in class 12 to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects UR – 50%, OBC/SC/ST – 40%, PWD – 45%
NEET 2021 Qualifying Exam	Applicants must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with PCB, Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board. 10+2 or equivalent appearing aspirants are also eligible to apply for NEET.
Age Limit for NEET 2021	They have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of the year of their admission to the first year Undergraduate Medical Course.
Nationality	Indian Citizens/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) intending to pursue Undergraduate Medical Courses in a foreign Medical/ Dental Institute also need to qualify NEET (UG).
