Lal Bahadur Shastri Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital

The Lal Bahadur Shastri (L.B.S.) Homoeopathic Medical College, Bhopal was established on 19th September, 1966 with active support and efforts of Dr. (Late) K.B. Srivastava for the promotion of Homeopathy education and research.The College is affiliated to Barkatullah University, Bhopal, located in Madhya Pradesh with an annual intake of 100 seats. It was sponsored by L.B.S. Homoeopathic & Allied Education Society, a society registered under the M.P. Societies Registration Act, 1973. The College is a well known institution in the States of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat as far as the progressive trends in Homoeopathy is concerned.

Facilities:

The college has well equipped and furnished teaching department keeping in the view the essentials of the subjects concerned.

Well equipped laboratories and museums making it more comprehensive for student to learn the basics of the subject.

The Central Library of the institute provides good reference facilities on various subjects. The Library maintains a good collection of essential text and reference books. In addition book bank facility is also provided specially for SC/ST candidates.

College Hospital :-

The Institution is having associated hospital namely L.B.S. HOSPITAL AND RESEARCH CENTRE. The Hospital is 150 bedded; having well equipped Operation Theatre, Labour room and investigation facilities including X-Ray, Clinical Laboratory etc. Eminent Physicians & Surgeons provide their services round the clock. Most of the general & specific surgical operations are performed in the Hospital. The Institution provides practical and bed side clinical training to the student in the hospital with special orientation of Homoeopathic system of medicine under three separate college OPDs.

5 ½ Years (Study Period – 4 ½ Years + Compulsory Rotating Internship 1 Year)

AACCC will be doing Counselling for minimum 15% AIQ seats for Government, Government aided, Central Universities, National Institutes, Private colleges and 100% seats for Deemed Universities.

Eligibility:

1. Candidates should be Indian Citizen and they have state domicile of Madhya Pradesh.
2. They must be qualified in 10+2 examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English subjects.
3. The age of the candidates should be minimum of 17 years and a maximum of 25 years & there are 5 years of age relaxation for reserved candidates.
