Govt.Tibbi College & Hospital is first government Unani College of India established in 1926, affiliated to the Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU); presently offer two courses namely Pre-Tib & BUMS. Process of starting MD/PG course in five departments, to raise the UG intake up to 100, diploma & certificate courses in various disciplines of Unani Medicine is in progress. Ten outpatients departments are running voluminously (more than 400 patients per day) with gradual surge; having online registration system “Sanjeevni”. College is offering in-patient facilities in 8 departments in well equipped wards. GTCH offers maximum number of classical and patent drugs in IPD & OPDs. Various regimens, pathological tests including drugs and in-patients facilities are offered free of cost. College possesses well decorated and maintained two herbal gardens one in college premises and other in IGIMS Campus. GTCH campus is well equipped having smart classes and remain 24 hrs under CCTV surveillance. Visionary head of the institute aims “to provide quality teaching & training in Unani System of Medicine (USM) and developing the college as center of excellence”.

    Admission into BAMS, BHMS, BUMS & BNYS Courses in all the Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani and Naturopathy Medical Colleges affiliated to B.R.Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur.

     for the academic year under Competent Authority Quota seats i.e., the seats in Government Ayurveda, Homoeopathy & Unani Colleges and Competent Authority Seats in Private Un-aided Non-Minority Ayurveda, Homoeopathy and Naturopathy Medical Colleges underB.R.Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur.

    Qualifying Percentile and Cut-off Score:

    The College Cut-off is the minimum marks prescribed by the selection board for the admission of students. The merit list will be designed on these Cutoff scores. Aspirants who apply for the Institute needs to clear the Cut-off for various courses.

    • Aspirants are required to obtain minimum qualifying percentile marks in NEET 2021 entrance examination to qualify for further admission process.
    • Candidates who belong to SC/ ST/ OBC are required to obtain marks equivalent to at least 40th percentile to be considered for AIQ and state counselling process.
    • Aspirants who belong to UR category are required to score equivalent to at least 50thpercentile.
