Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital (NHMC&H), a premier and reputed Homoeopathic Medical College of India under Delhi Government. Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital is an institution with attached hospital functioning under the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi. NHMC&H is located in Defence Colony in New Delhi and provides homoeopathic medical education and health facilities. 

NHMC&H is affiliated to University of Delhi since 1992 and imparts 5 1/2 year undergraduate BHMS course to batch of 100 students and 3 years post graduate MD (Hom) course in 3 disciplines namely Practice of Medicine and Organon of Medicine to batch of 2 Post Graduate students in each subject and Materia-medica having 3 Post Graduate students in each batch. Since then the institution has come a long way in adding new dimensions to the Homoeopathic Education in this country. The outdoor patient department and 100 bedded indoor hospital attached to the college of the Hospital is providing curative, preventive and promotive Homoeopathic Health Care services and provides basic investigation facilities. All the facilities in the institution are free of cost to the public.

The College has one of the finest libraries with an impressive collection of medical literature. The library is air-conditioned and it has adequate reading rooms for undergraduate and postgraduate students where they can study. It has a large number of books and journals. It has internet facility to keep the readers abreast of latest medical developments all over the world. The library has also acquired 5 computers. This has served as unique educational support for postgraduate students as well as faculty members.

Admission into BAMS, BHMS, BUMS & BNYS Courses in all the Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani and Naturopathy Medical Colleges affiliated University of Delhi for the academic year under Competent Authority Quota seats i.e., the seats in Government Ayurveda, Homoeopathy & Unani Colleges and Competent Authority Seats in Private Un-aided Non-Minority Ayurveda, Homoeopathy and Naturopathy Medical Colleges under University of Delhi.

Course Duration:

 5 ½ Years (Study Period – 4 ½ Years + Compulsory Rotating Internship 1 Year) 

Seat Distribution:

-15% AIQ (All India Quota)

AACCC will be doing Counselling for minimum of 15% AIQ seats for Government, Government aided Central Universities, National Institutes, Private colleges and 100% seats for Deemed Universities.

-- 85% Government Quota

 85% seat filled through government Counseling conducted by under University of Delhi AYUSH, Delhi.

Eligibility:

• Candidates must possess BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS/Graded BHMS degree
• Candidate with a provisional BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS Pass Certificate (recognized as per the provisions of the IMCC 1970/HCC 1973 Act) can also apply for AIAPGET
• Permanent or provisional registration certificate of BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS/Graded BHMS degree qualification issued by the CCIM/CCH/state board/universities/deemed universities
• He/she must have completed one year of internship or is likely to complete the internship on or before December 31, 2022
• There is no upper age limit for the candidates appearing for AIAPGET 2022
• NTA has not specified the number of attempts permitted to clear AIAPGET, thus a candidate can take the examination as many times as he/she needs to clear it.

Note: Candidates found to be ineligible at any stage will not be permitted to appear in the examination. In an unlikely event of any ineligible candidate appearing and/or qualifying AIAPGET 2022, the result/candidature of such candidate shall be cancelled.
