The Government Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Patan, is one of The reputed Homoeopathic college in India, and is the only Government Homoeopathic college in Gujarat. The College has its own campus on patan with 100 beded hospital.The college is affiliated to Gujarat University and is recognised by the central council of Homoeopathy. The Intake for undergraduate course is 100 Students per year and Post Graduate Course has total 28 Students intake every year in 5 Specialities of Materia Medica, Organon of Medicine, Repertory, Practice of Medicine and Paediatrics.

The College library has a rich collection of Homoeopathy books and allied medical subjects. The library has well-stocked journals, magazines, newspapers and periodicals. Facilities that are provided by the college are lecture theatres, seminar hall, sports, conference hall, canteen, well-established classrooms and medical. 

Courses Offered: Govt. Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital impart education through a 5 ½ year degree course in Homoeopathy that is Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS). The duration of BHMS programme will be about 4 ½ years + one year compulsory internship. The total number of seats for BHMS is 100. The college also offers B.H.M.S. (Graded Degree) regular Courses as well as a graded course for external candidates.

In Gujarat Counseling for AYUSH is conducted by  Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) .ACPUGMEC is limited to the conduct of centralized Counseling, which includes online registration, document verification, online/offline Counseling procedure, seat allotment and issue of admission order as per NEET UG of current academic year. Course Duration:

 5 ½ Years (Study Period – 4 ½ Years + Compulsory Rotating Internship 1 Year)

Eligibility:

1. Applicants must have passed class 10+2 or equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry, Biology as mandatory subjects.
2. Candidates must have scored minimum 50% marks in Biology /Biotechnology, Physics & Chemistry.
3. The Minimum age of the applicant at the time of admission should be 17 years.
4. Applicant must be NEET qualified.
5. Applicants should be an Indian.
