A.M. Shaikh Homoeopathic Medical College, Belgaum was established in 1967 by the People’s Education Society & Trust. Offering courses in L.C.E.H., G.C.E.H., B.H.M.S., and PG, it became the first institution in India to receive ISO certification in 1996 and 2000. The college is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. The college has consistently demonstrated academic excellence, which is a reflection of its dedication to quality education. Through a continuous pursuit of excellence, the institution strives to equip its stakeholders to meet emerging global challenges, enabling them to make meaningful contributions to society. The college boasts a 65-bed hospital, expanding from its initial 46 beds, offering specialized outpatient departments (OPDs) in Dermatology, Respiratory Medicine, Infertility, and Palliative Care, along with five peripheral OPDs that meet the standards set by the National Commission for Homoeopathy. Our faculty comprises 45 highly qualified members, specializing in both homeopathic and modern medicine, as well as various super-specialties. The infrastructure at both the college and hospital meets the requirements of the Medical Standards Regulations (MSR), with additional facilities dedicated to research. Research is an integral part of our academic environment, with projects undertaken at four levels: UG faculty, PG faculty, PG scholars, UG students, and interns. Annually, approximately 50 research projects are conducted across various fields, and we have published over 75 scientific articles in reputable journals, including those indexed in Scopus. Additionally, we actively participate in research projects at the university level and collaborate with the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH). KEA – Karnataka Examination Authority conducts AYUSH Courses counseling For A.M. Shaikh Homoeopathic Medical College, Belgaum

The KEA – Karnataka Examination Authority conducts a centralized online counseling process for Karnataka state, offering admissions to various types of seats: Government seats in Government colleges, Government seats in private colleges, Private/Management seats, and NRI seats in private colleges. KEA organizes this counseling in four rounds. The application form for UG NEET counseling will be available in the UG NEET section of the KEA website.

In Karnataka, 85% of seats in government and government-aided institutions (excluding the 15% All India Quota managed by AACCC), along with seats in private institutions (including State Quota, All India Quota, and Management/NRI Quota) for AYUSH undergraduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, and Homeopathy will be allocated through the KEA – Karnataka Examination Authority.

Eligibility: Candidate must pass 2nd PUC/12th standard or an equivalent exam with English and score at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology together (40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B categories). The student must also qualify in UGNEET-2025

The allotment of seats will be conducted online, first round, second round followed by the Mop-up Round and Stray Vacancy Round (subject to availability of seats).

First Round:-
